I (Derek Telander) established Telander Painting in 2003 after working for other paint contractors in Boulder County. I was disappointed by the fast pace, low quality work that was being provided by unskilled labor.

With over 25 years experience in the trade, I actually take the appropriate amount of time, properly do necessary prep work, and offer much better, longer lasting results. I do the work myself, occasionally using a trusted partner for larger projects, but I am always on the job site working on the project.

I have been enjoying the Colorado outdoor life since moving here in 1997. I am an avid hiker, skier, and a friend to all dogs.
